Who we are

What data we collect

  • Waitlist entries: your email address, the plan and price that you selected, an optional answer to our question, your website or a description of your business if you give one, and the ad campaign that brought you to the site.
  • Usage data: the pages that you visit, the buttons that you click, your browser type, and an approximate location from your IP address.

Why we use it

  • We use your email address to tell you when Simpleseen opens. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You give it when you join the waitlist.
  • We use usage data to understand how people use this site. Without your cookie consent, analytics runs without cookies and does not store an identifier on your device. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • We use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure our ads. They run only when you accept cookies (Article 6(1)(a)).

Who receives the data

These service providers process data for us:

  • Cloudflare: hosting, security checks against bots (Turnstile), and email forwarding.
  • Neon: storage of waitlist entries.
  • PostHog: website analytics.
  • Meta Platforms: measurement of our ads (Meta Pixel and Conversions API), only with your consent.

Some of these providers process data outside the EU. In these cases, they use the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist entries until Simpleseen launches, or for 12 months if it does not launch. Then we delete them. Analytics data is kept for up to 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, a correction, deletion, or a copy. You can also object to the use of your data, or take back your consent at any time. Email info@simpleseen.com. You can also complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI), or to the authority in your country.

Cookies

We ask for your consent before we set analytics or advertising cookies. You can change your choice with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

Simpleseen is not open yet

We are still building it. Leave your email, and we will tell you first when it opens. We save the plan that you selected.
